Meet the Team
A senior HR team built to support businesses that have outgrown DIY HR
Running a business with people is rarely straightforward. As teams grow, roles evolve and expectations increase, the people side of the business naturally becomes more complex. What once felt manageable can start to take up disproportionate time, energy and headspace.
Dakota Blue exists to support businesses at exactly this point. We are a senior HR team designed to work alongside owners and leaders who want their people matters handled properly, calmly and commercially, without the need for a full in-house HR function.
More than individuals. A team designed for the reality of running a business with people
While you will have a consistent point of contact, our clients benefit from the depth and perspective of a wider senior HR team. Our structure is deliberate, ensuring continuity, shared thinking and consistent advice, rather than reliance on a single individual.
This approach gives our clients confidence that support remains steady, even as their business, priorities or internal challenges change over time.
How we support our clients
Most of our clients work with us on a retained basis, giving them ongoing access to experienced HR support that understands their business and grows in step with it. We also offer pay-as-you-go support where flexibility is needed, particularly around specific issues or periods of change.
As relationships deepen, we often support leaders with people and leadership development, helping them build confidence, capability and clarity as their responsibilities increase. This work sits naturally alongside our core HR support, rather than as a separate or disconnected service.
